What do you call the Waikiki Prince Kuhio Hotel after a $65 million renovation?

…and the answer is the Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio Hotel. Hilton announced this new addtion to their collection today. The announcement includes these tidbits about the rooms:

The warmth and Aloha Spirit of the Islands is felt throughout each of the guest rooms – from the sunlight hues of the bed throws to the headboard and furniture designs that evoke the presence of flower lei, from the elegant curtains to the earth tones of the tiles and carpeting. The laminated crackle glass of the guest bathrooms allow natural light to filter through while lending a feeling of open space to the entire area. Each guest room features the Hilton Serenity Collection® of in-room amenities, including the Hilton Serenity Bath Collection of exclusive Crabtree & Evelyn La Source® bath amenities and the Hilton Serenity Bed, which consists of a Serta Suite Dreams® mattress and box springs, Pacific Coast® down duvet, Super Topper mattress pad, and high quality linen and pillows. Additional in-room amenities include a new 42??? plasma TV, housed in exotic South American zebrano and wenge wood cabinets, featuring high definition capabilities and the ability to be used as a computer monitor with direct accessibility from the desktop; Hilton CD clock radios with MP3 connection; and floral artwork.

Personally, I like staying at hotels that have been rewly refurbished. They usually have some of the latest technologies and comforts. Plus, everything seems fresh and new.
