Recently AAA released a survey of the cost for lodging and meals across US vacation destinations and as no surprise, Hawaii topped the list. AAA said that the average family of four spends $650 per day, however you don’t have to search long to find great family vacation packages that cost much less. For example, Hilton properties in Hawaii are offering a Discovery Kids package that includes free continental breakfast daily at reasonable rates.
The Hilton Kauai Beach Resort rates start at $211 per night for the Discovery Kids package. This recently renovated resort will be a hit with the kids because it has several pools including a fresh water sand bottom pool and a flume and lava water slide. Parents will be pleased with the free nightly cocktail reception as well as the free nightly torch lighting and Polynesian dance show.
Other Hilton locations across Hawaii offering the Discovery Kids special deal are as follows:
- $284 per room, per night at Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island
- $249 per room, per night at Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu
- $259 per room, per night at Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio on Oahu
