Taking the Family To Hawaii Doesn’t Have to Cost a Bundle

Recently AAA released a survey of the cost for lodging and meals across US vacation destinations and as no surprise, Hawaii topped the list.  AAA said that the average family of four spends $650 per day, however you don’t have to search long to find great family vacation packages that cost much less.  For example, Hilton properties in Hawaii are offering a Discovery Kids package that includes free continental breakfast daily at reasonable rates. 

The Hilton Kauai Beach Resort rates start at $211 per night for the Discovery Kids package.  This recently renovated resort will be a hit with the kids because it has several pools including a fresh water sand bottom pool and a flume and lava water slide.  Parents will be pleased with the free nightly cocktail reception as well as the free nightly torch lighting and Polynesian dance show.
