- Hawaii is experiencing lots of precipitation. Heavy rains are pounding the islands and snow is falling on the Big Island summits of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea.
- Can’t decide which island to visit on your first trip to Hawaii? TravelGolf.com has some suggestions to help you sort out your choices. By the way, don’t sweat your decision, you really can’t make a bad choice.

I’ve been hearing a lot about the storms in Hawaii; and believe it or not, I wish I was there! Like most Hawaiian travelers, I certainly enjoy the sun and beach; but I just love the wonderful sense of being “trapped” in a downpour while on the islands . . . provided room service is still delivering, of course.
I’ve been benevolently ‘stuck’ in Hawaii a few times, and my favorite was when I was at the Hana Hawaii Hotel. Its location gives it a wonderful sense of seclusion to begin with, and if the roads get iffy, the sense of isolation is complete . . . and perfect!
I love all this rain and the cooler weather!
