- If you’re a traveler to Hawaii who likes to give back a little while on vacation, consider these worthy volunteer opportunities.
- The Hawaii Superferry saga continues. The next big hurdle is a hearing to decide whether to dissolve an injunction prohibiting the ferry from going to Maui. This hearing is scheduled for next Wednesday. I checked the Hawaii Superferry web site and they are not yet taking reservations.
- For fans of Midwest Airlines and Hawaii, there’s good news. You can now fly Midwest to Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island (Kona) from Milwaukee. These new Midwest flights are made possible by a code share agreement with Northwest Airlines. Passengers can fly on a Midwest aircraft to Los Angeles or San Francisco and then fly onward to Hawaii on Northwest.
