Here’s a photo we took at Ke’e Beach on Kauai’s North Shore. As you can see there’s several warnings about the conditions in the water. I’d advise you to always read the warning signs and observe conditions before diving into the ocean. It’s best, if possible,to swim at beaches staffed with lifeguards. For more important ocean safety tips, see this very useful Hawaii Ocean Safety Web site and always remember: when in doubt, don’t go out!

The only sign missing is the shark sign. I have seen it at Olowalu on Maui.
