Are you on twitter? If not, maybe you’ll want to get yourself a free twitter account in order to participate in this contest to win a 5-night stay on Hawaii’s Big Island.
To mark its 30th anniversary, the oceanfront Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, located on the sunny Kohala Coast of Hawaii Island, will run a photo caption contest via Twitter (www.Twitter.com/MarriottHawaii), starting today.
Operated by Marriott Resorts Hawaii (@MarriottHawaii), the 30-day contest (#WaikoloaMarriott30) will give entrants the opportunity to win a five-night stay in a Royal Suite at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, overlooking ancient Hawaiian fishponds and the white-sand ‘Anaeho‘omalu Bay. The luxurious, contemporary one-bedroom suite offers richly appointed and spacious accommodations featuring one and a half bathrooms and a soaking bathtub, kitchen amenities, lounge seating, dining area, and large private lanai (balconies) with glass railings.
@MarriottHawaii will post one photo of Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa each weekday for 30 days. People can enter the contest by replying on Twitter with a caption that best describes the photo. Entries must include the hashtag #WaikoloaMarriott30. Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa will review the day’s entries and the person with the best caption will be selected, qualifying him or her to be entered into the contest drawing.
Of the 30 daily qualifiers, Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa will randomly select one contest winner the week of August 22nd.
Announcements of the daily qualifiers and contest winner will be made over Twitter from @MarriottHawaii. The prize is valid for travel from October 1, 2011 through October 31, 2012. Must be 21 years of age to enter. Contest rules, terms and conditions will be posted on www.marriotthawaii.com/waikoloamarriott30.
