Wailea Maui

* Do you want to go to Hawaii, but you’re afraid to check the cost of airfare? Don’t be scared. I’m seeing so many excellent deals from just about every major airline. For example, I saw Atlanta to Honolulu from $518, Charlotte to Honolulu from $496, Salt Lake City to Honolulu from $366 and Phoenix to Honolulu from $318! You can use a airfare search engine like CheapAir.com to check for the price of airfare from your home airport. To find the lowest fare, click the box that says, “My dates are flexible”.

* If you are a AAA member, you might want to check out this five-night deal starting at $718 per person including airfare, hotel, rental car and a $50 activity voucher. Mahalo to Gary Fish for sharing this deal with us.

* There’s a very nice Maui condo deal including car and two restaurant vouchers under the Honolulu section of LivingSocial Escapes. For $850, you get four nights accommodation in a one-bedroom, partial ocean view condo in Wailea, a compact rental car for five days and two $20 restaurant vouchers.

  1. These rates published are only applicable for west coast folks. How about east coast folks like us? Any deals or should i have to sell my arm and leg?

  2. You’ve got a great blog. So glad to hear airfare is down. I’ve been checking Kauai Vacation Rentals & Real Estate, Inc. website. They’ve got great deals, especially on Wednesdays(on Facebook) for rental houses & condos. I think I can actually fit a trip out to Kauai on my budget. Looking forward to checking out all your nice recommendations.

    1. Thanks, Carly.

I’m curious — are you an employee, contractor or somehow affiliated with Kauai Vacation Rentals? You seem to comment about them a lot between here and facebook.

  3. If you keep a watch, you can usually find decent airfare prices to Hawaii. Hawaiian introduced flights to Maui from JFK, but sad for me, they deleted the direct flight from PDX! I hate having to fly through Honolulu, but Hawaiian is my airlines of choice. (For now!)
