* CheapAir.com has released an interesting new study of the best time to purchase airfare. Their research revealed that on average, the cheapest time to purchase a ticket is 70 days before departure. That’s up 16 days from their previous study. They analyzed the seasonality factor for airfare purchases and have come up with seasonal specific purchase windows. We’ve updated our lowest airfare to Hawaii article to include this new research.
