Mahalo to Shirley Ho for sharing this neat surf shot with us for Aloha Friday Photos. We love all the bright shades of blue in this surfing scene.
When Hawaii tourism reopens without a quarantine, it will be nice to dip our toes in the water and enjoy those shades of blue in person.
Happy Aloha Friday!

I love your Friday photos! I have to admit when I get the email I hope it is good news about a path to lifting the quarantine though…Has there been any more scuttlebutt about the Lt Governor’s testing plan?
Thanks for the encouragement, Jon!
Nothing new has come out recently about opening tourism. From the Lt. Gov.’s daily updates, he’s still sounding optimistic. We’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed. 🙂
You bet. I am still hoping for mid-October in Poipu!
I just caught the very end of his weekly facebook update. He sounded very certain by this time next week they would announce the plan for reopening. He described that they were working backwards from a date that they had determined they had to be back open. I am wondering when that is and how they came up with such a date…fingers crossed
Listening to a video where the Lt. Gov. chats with KUMU radio. He’s indicating that an announcement is “imminent” https://www.facebook.com/947kumu/videos/269883224119151/
We are booked for two weeks in November in Maui and are not sure if our medical insurance will cover us if we leave Canada. Looking forward to going back to Maui, hope for the best.
