Kilauea Volcano erupted at about 9:30pm Hawaii Time on Sunday, December 20th! The eruption occurred at Halema’uma’u Crater at the Kilauea summit inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
For more than three, continuous decades Kilauea was one of the most active volcanoes on the planet. In September 2018, Kilauea took a bit of a rest with no surface activity. That all changed last night!
