In the Hawaiian language, the words na and pali mean many and cliffs respectively. It’s certainly a fitting name for this spectacular coastline with so many colorful and uniquely-shaped cliffs. As you can see from Charles’ photo, there are some waterfalls adorning these cliffs, as well.
The Na Pali Coast is remote, but can be viewed by land, air and sea. We recommend you chose at least one way as part of your Kauai vacation sightseeing plans.
