As you might be able to tell, Darla’s photo was taken before sunset. Notice the soft, golden glow and how vibrant the colors are on the lawn and bougainvillea. That’s one of the neat phenomenons that happens at sunset. Years ago, we wrote an article discussing this golden glow with the advice to observe your surroundings at sunset. It’s an extra sunset gift that most people miss because they’re often only looking out over the ocean.
