Mahalo to Kay Landry for sharing this lovely golf scene with us for Aloha Friday Photos. Kay told us that this photo is of the Big Island’s Mauna Lani South Golf Course Hole #15.
Hawaii has some world class golf courses on all the islands. Even though I don’t golf, I still appreciate how beautiful and challenging these courses are.
On our very first trip to Maui in the early 2000s, Andy got to play at the Plantation Course in Kapalua. That’s the course where the PGA’s The Sentry tournament is held in January. He had such a big smile on his face after playing there. He described it as “playing in paradise”, though he said it was hard to focus on his swing and the ball when he was distracted by so much beauty.
Happy Aloha Friday!
